Wines2buy, located in Australia is an Online Store that Offers Quality wines, beers, brandy, vodka, ciders and liquors from around the world. Wines 2 Buy and The Best Web Sites are owned and operated by Wines 2 Buy Ptd Ltd , an Australian based and owned business. Wines 2 Buy Has a Warehouse in Melbourne, Victoria and an Office on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
Wines2buy needed a Custom Solution integrator to create a powerful B2C e-Commerce Online Store to sell their wines Online. Medma Infomatix was given the opportunity to design an advanced B2C website using the Magento E-Commerce platform and Magento Shopping Cart Features (for an online wine store).
- PROJECT OVERVIEW
Wines 2 Buy and The Best Web Sites are owned and operated by Wines 2 Buy Pty Ltd, a leading Wine and Liquor Distribution in Australia. Wines2buy wanted to expand sales reach and needs to improve Customer Service using an Online Wine Store.
Medma Infomatix was engaged to develop a full-featured e-Commerce Online wine store because of its proven skills in working with the latest technologies and its experience in developing and providing best e-Commerce Solutions and Services. We developed a full-featured e-Commerce Magento Application including Stock Management Functionality, Shopping Cart and a Payment gateway.
Medma Infomatix acted as an outsourced Software development provider for this project. After the Magento Online Wine store has been developed, it was handed over to the client.
- DESCRIPTION
Wines2buy is a leading Wine and Liquor distributor in Australia. Its a Database driven e-Commerce website for selling international wines in Australia. One of the great features of Magento is that it is capable of supporting multiple stores and websites from one admin interface. Each store can have its own URL, design, set of products and prices specific to varying customer types. We have developed more than 15 different websites targeting different products, Customers and brands in online wines. This project is an excellent example of our Magento web Development.
- WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM?
Magento Multiple Store Functionality is perhaps the best feature in the Magento e-Commerce. It enables users to manage multiple stores using only a single admin area. Running multiple e-Commerce stores from single Admin area, allocating different prices to different stores, Magento SEO, Supplier management, Order & Shipment management, Stock management was the main problem.
The main objective of the project was to launch a customized Magento online store with custom design and modules.

The purpose is to develop a full-featured e-Commerce Online wine store. Using this website, the Customers in Australia and other parts of the World can buy wine online and can get it delivered at their place. They can search for different wines and wine accessories and can place their orders by using their credit cards.
As you know, the basic features of Magento are very helpful and friendly. However, the expansion of themes and making them more attractive are the number one goal of us.
- OUR APPROACH
As there would be multiple web stores for selling wines online so following the detailed assessment of Client's requirement we decided to use Magento for better control and flexibility. By leveraging the power of Magento we can handle multiple stores from a single Admin area. We have also developed number of custom Magento extension for managing Suppliers, invoices, stock levels etc. We successfully delivered our client an attractive looking and interactive Magento based eCommerece online store. Customers can easily create account to shop continuously. By creating an account with this online store, the customer will be able to move through the checkout process faster and they will be able to track their order too. The shipping cart makes easy and quick for users to purchase their favourite wines and wines accessories and other related products from different wines store.
- DIFFERENCE WE MADE
With this Magento based website, we have proved that running multiple e-Commerce stores can be very easy and profitable. We were also able to optimize the Magento websites for different Search Engines inspite of the fact that Magento can be little tricky sometimes with regards to SEO.
Google loves Magento because Magento is a SEO-Friendly e-Commerce platform. In order to Optimize Magento websites for search engines we need to implement SEO principles and rules. For the Online Liquor Store it took a combination of knowing our clients’ needs, understanding Google’s algorithm for determining page rank, and keeping our practices sustainable. To begin, we understand our client’s needs and helped them obtain their goals. By focusing on good, feasible keywords we helped our client obtain a highest ranking possible for the right keywords. Next we focused on improving the appearance and usability of the landing pages on the website.
Finally using latest SEO techniques we were able to optimize the Magento website for different Search Engines
