Client was a Startup wanted to create a Classified Ads Platform for mobile devices where sellers should be able to post & manage their classified Ads.

The client approached Medma for developing a classified mobile application for Android & iOS devices. The application was intended to help users in selling any kind of item directly to the buyers by using their mobile phones. A user can sell anything like car, bikes, computer, gadgets etc just by posting an advertisement with complete details of the item. The app was supposed to handle high traffic volumes and numerous uploads per minute.

The app was developed for both the platforms – iOS and Android so that it covers majority of mobile devices. Our approach was to develop an easy-to-use user friendly mobile application with simple work flow. The focus was to smooth the entire workflow for uploading advertisement, displaying them in a consistent manner and then providing quick & easy way to interact. We provided listing facilities with advanced catalogue management along with a user dashboard to manage and control over the Ads in the platform. This classified app offers different categories of online promotion based on free and paid memberships . This app instantly provides user with the ability to quickly sell and buy used stuffs. We used FireBase to provide Push notifications of the messages received in the mobile app. Users were also provided with a WhatsApp like text messaging to send and receive messages along with sending attachments. A forum page is provided where users can ask or answer the questions and help each other.

The application provided an easy way to sell/buy stuffs using iOS and Android devices. There is a system in place where a User can make an account and buy or sell anything they want. A user can post an advertisement and list the product they want to sell, the other user can view the Ad and contact the person who posted it. The end product is very handy and is similar to OLX, Gumtree, Letgo and Quikr application. A fully scalable and secure system is now in place where multiple users can post different Ads under different categories and can interact securely via Whatsapp like chat.
